in case you haven't heard, plant-based living is kinda my thing
And I get that to find joy in the journey you need food you actually like. That's because my love of great tasting dishes was well formed waaaay back at my family's restaurant in a small North Georgia blink-and-you'd-miss-it town.
You see, my dad had been a chef in the Merchant Marines, and my mom, well, she was a natural born cooking talent. I was just a little peach back then, who spent many long hours standing on a stool by their sides taking it all in. It was there inside that hometown gathering place that I learned the value of hard work, doing all things with excellence, and the BIG importance of getting the flavors right.
As a child, you'd find me running through our wild berry patches with a cup in my hand and a big smile on my face.
But to be honest, it wasn't all berries and sunshine. It's even tempting at times to wish that I knew then what I know now about building a full life with unending possibilities. It would have saved me from many exhausting health struggles.
Thankfully, I realize that those past experiences came together to make me who I am today. And without them, I wouldn't have the overwhelming joy of regularly seeing the lives of so many amazing women completely transformed by the beauty and incredible deliciousness of whole plant foods.
FINDING INSPIRATION FROM
Prayer, fresh flowers, beach walks, the sound of ocean waves, simple spaces, colorful produce, morning quiet time, & really great books.
Based in Florida, Anita brings her background as a RN and her love of helping others succeed to the world of healthy living.
If you struggle with health issues, I'm sending you a big virtual hug. I get it, because a few years ago I was barely surviving each day due to chronic fatigue, extra pounds, autoimmune disease, vascular damage, fibrocystic breast disease, and lack of sleep. I was led to believe that once I had these diagnoses, there was little to nothing I could do about it that would actually work.
Boy, were "they" wrong! There is hope, because you have a lot more control over your health than you've been told. And it doesn't have to be soooo stinkin' hard, expensive, or time consuming either.
LOVES: helping you successfully find plant based joy so you can FULLY live your very best life.
